A Day Of Celebration

The West Chester East Best Buddies chapter hosted their annual Fall Frolic on Wednesday, December 9th. The West Chester East officers and advisors planned a great day of events that included two nearby Best Buddies chapters, Conestoga and Unionville. (The Owen J. Roberts chapter was unable to attend due to inclement weather.)
The day started off with the division of teams. Four teams were identified by color, and to increase interaction between participants chapters were split into competing teams. Very quickly, friendly rivalries were started as the teams faced off in kickball, floor hockey and other activities.
After a couple of hours of building up an appetite and competing against their friends and Buddies, it was time to eat. The West Chester East chapter served a pizza lunch to everyone in attendance.
It was great celebration of friendship through athletics and games. A sincere thank you for an incredibly organized and fun day goes out to Mr. Rob McMahon, West Chester East Special Education Advisor, Haley Miller, Chapter President and the entire West Chester East Best Buddies chapter.
The smiles on the faces of everyone at the Frolic told the story, and it was an exhilarating day to celebrate friendship and make new friends. |
